Adults with ADHD face problems not too dissimilar form those face by children with ADHD. Because they may be perceived as unstable they may miss out of employment opportunities or even lose their jobs. Not to mention relationships which can be very difficult if the partner does not understand what it is going on. If they have had ADHD as children chances are they might have dropped out of school because of it, further hurting their chances of profitable employment.
